Default oil catch can

What does everyone make their diy oil catch cans out of? Or is it easier/cheaper to just buy a 15$ ebay one?

That's mine...you remove the valve cover hockeypuck hose, use an 034Motorsports block breather adapter, and run hose from both to the can. You can then either vent the can or run it to the TIP

^^ ?? Are those all of your SAI hoses etc, moved on top of your valve cover?

No, the SAI hoses run under the IM...thats the N249. Those will be gone shortly

haha i remember when my engine bay looked that nasty lol j/k removing all that junk is so easy and makes things hella better (not only looking but for the car too)

Same deal here with the 034 fitting. Probably easier/cheaper to buy an ebay can and stuff it with steel wool (since its probably empty) than to have someone make you a can. Welded my own, FYI.


BTW, not complete in this pic. Still needed a bung welded on the valve cover, and a bracket for the can, and the hoses trimmed down. Its all finished now. Need more pics....

matt your engine bay looks a mess..lol like oil is spraying everywhere...you fix that valve cover port yet?

Yeah, its all tied together now, but it really does need a good degreasing and pressure washing. Especially under the intake manifold where all that PCV stuff was just oozing sludge.
