Default obx boost gauge

Okay today my obx boost gauge came in but there is a problem. I don't know how to hook up the vac line that runs from the gaugeto the t fitting they gave me. the line looks way to small and can actually fit in thet fitting. Is everyone else have thing proble or isit just the cheap obx gauge? I'll try to post up a pic in a min or two of what I'm talking about!

did they give you a tiny nylon line that goes in the T as opposed to on the T? If that is the case, it will stay, they use them on some autometer.

Yeah it fits in the t! I just don't know how to secure it, any ideas?
Thanks!

it should secure itself, but if you want more peice of mind, try a zip/cable tie

i put small hose clamps on all three sides of the t on my autometer just to make sure of no leaks but all hoses fit pretty tight on the t

Update:

So the thin nylon line stays in the t w/o any clamps. I think i will eventually secure it w/ one in the future. I also ran power from headlight cluster. I believe it was a green wire for power and I used the brown wire for a ground just on a guess b/c I saw a central ground location under the dash and all those wires were brown. At full boost it seems to run around 12psi and vac seems to be around 11 at idle. Hope this helps anyone else attemping to install a gauge.

11psi is normal of a 180, but the vac should be ~20in hg at idle when the sai is off and the engine is warm. Guessing your posting cold engine idle vac, otherwise you have a vac leak
