There is a noise coming from the rear part of my car. I thought it was the shelf and i took it off but it wasnt that. Everytime i go over a bump or accelarate hard something keeps hitting. Im sure its coming from the rear, and i know its not the license plate. I also tightened the spare tire so i dont know what it is..Has this happened to anyone? please help..

 

Yeah it's the interior trim that goes around the glass of the hatch. Mine rattles on the passenger side, usually when I give it a good whack it stops.

 

Yeah mine rattles too. To fix it all you have to do is turn up some hard rock. It works for me.

 

Is it more of a rattle or a clunk? If it is the latter, you may need to tighten the upper shock bolts.
