Any squeaking with the new sway bar?

 

no problem. no squeaking at all so far. this has been one of my favorite upgrades from a price/benefit stand point. definitely worth the money and 30min to put in.

 

Can you go into detail about the installation. Did you put in on ramps or jack up the rear?
Is it a simple bolt off bolt new one on type of installation? Did you get new endlinks with your
sway bar? The H&R sways have some sort of lined bushings that prevent squeaking and eliminates maintanance.

 

i just jacked up the rear end and put it on jack stands. then just lowered the muffler (pulled it off its hanger),dropped theheat shield (three or four screws), then unbolted the stock sway bar. i just reversed those steps to install the new one. it really was very simple.

 

What about the "OEM Euro 19mm Rear Sway Bar Kit ES#4977"

 

i don't know why anyone would want to pay fifty bucks more and wait until the end of feb. when you could just get the 21mm h&r. they are made to the same standards i'm sure. someone correct me if i'm wrong.
