definately smoke the fronts and remove the markers, but the back of that looks SICK !!! Well done !!!

Thanks for the props everyone. I love the look now! I'm going tint the markers and make an attempt at getting the reflectors out tomorrow. I'll post up some better quality pics when I get it done.

Yes, I know the flash was on...... Left the camera in auto mode.

i painted all my rings black too, could look sweet, well it does for me anyway

They actually were black until yesterday. I had them painted but the road gravel was making them chip a little bit. Didn't look good having some silver show, didn't want to have to keep painting them, so I sanded them back down.

They had been painted using multiple coats, just been painted for a long time. Over time they just started to get little chips here and there, just like my hood. Just small chips, but enough to annoy.

I'm thinking of having them anodized black, similar to the way people have their G35 emblems done or Lexus IS emblems. Think that will look better than the paint.

i did about 5-6 coats on a my first matte black rings.

started to chip to where the silver was showing

so i sanded em down and did another 5-6 coats of semi-gloss black

semi-gloss > matte black
