New TT's?
I have a friend in Cali who is interested in the new TT's, does anyone know when they will make it to the US? I like the TT a lot but I prefer the RS4 I am getting next week a little more-understatement of the year! Thanks!

According to edmonds, expect it in the US in the spring of 07, and yeah, it'll be a little more expensive. roadster comes out a couple months after the coupe. I haven't been following it that much since I don't like it all that much.

I have read on 2 or 3 websites saying that the new 2007 TT coupe will arrive in the US market in fall (around Nov) this year, followed by the roadster in Spring 2007. I have called a couple dealerships too. One of them told me that they are expecting them to arrive this fall but the other said Spring 2007.
It will be more expensive but it looks like it's just gonna be a slight increase. As far as the European market, the coupe price has only increased for 500 EUR...not bad!
I am trying to get more info about the new TT too...

Audi is getting ready to replace its TT coupe and convertible for the first time since the compact two-seaters were introduced in 1998.
The TT is getting a complete sheet-metal overhaul and mechanical upgrade, along with a refurbished roomier cabin. The exterior redesign, which will emulate the brands evolving family look, was previewed recently at the Tokyo Motor Show in the Audi Shooting Brake concept.
The 07 TT coupe is expected to make its public debut next spring at the Geneva show and will likely go on sale in North America in the fall. It will be followed in spring 2007 by the new TT convertible.
