RE: New Topic "BT upgrade"
You really need to ask yourself what you want your car to be able to do:
highway monster (huge topend)
great stoplight to stoplight (small and torqey, if thats even a word)
drag car
autoX
circuit track
Big numbers
More useable power
Pick whats the most important and then you can pick the right size turbo.

btw, has anyone actually attempted a 'TT' setup on a TT?

Twin turbos need seperate exhaust manifolds, or a similar setup...
Which would mean you would have 2 cylinders pushing each turbo... NOT a high boost application.
Even then, without a retarded, crappy flowing design, that won't happen on an inline 4 cylinder engine.
Most high HP Twin Turbo (V6) cars do single turbo conversions because it spins the single bigger turbo faster, and they get more boost than 2 crappy turbos being fed by 3 cylinders each.
PS: Good luck finding room for 2 exhausts feeding 2 turbos with 2 intake tubes and 2 downpipes anywhere in a TT, including the trunk. Also, a true dual anywhere in the front of the TT will probably have to convert to a single pipe somewhere underneath the car, further killing power.
I think I covered most of the reasons why a twin turbo 4 cylinder is as bad of an idea as a car with only the left wheels powered.

for a nice daily a 2871r would be good, but you can have a nice setup all the way to a gt3076r. Im going with a 50trim to start with on stock rods.
