Thanks for the schooling and the compliment! We are at 53ft above sea level, close enough not to matter. I found a very small leak in the line to the gauge under the dash and every thing looks fine now. Gauge peak/hold value at 14psi boost. Still have to decide if mechanic is correct on the issue of the MAF about to crap out. Either way, I figure it should still be reasonably safe to install my shiny new MBC today. First I shall have a nap

 

I think 42DD does a catch can, might want to check it out if you are still after one bud.
