TDI' are the -A's, The -D's are 180hp and -E is specific for 225hp. This makes me wonder if the put the TDI sensor in my remanned -D housing, if that is the problem? I should just geta MAFat Audi and see if it works. I should be able to return it right?

If i run my car for a day or two with out the maf hooked up and experience no problems, is it safe to assume that it is most likely the maf. is it safe to drive like that, I know the traction light comes on, dont know if it causes any damage to the car at all. if so, that is what I will do, and I will get it inspected like that as well.

P1136 isnt the MAF it is long term fuel trim, idling, bank 1 - system too lean.
probable causes are fuel pressure/pump, injectors/exhaust leak, AIR system, hose leak.

the MAF is simply doing its job

Do you guys even know what TDI stands for...
All of our TT's with the exception of the 3.2L v6's are Turbocharged Direct Injection.

so should i put a guage on my fuel line to see that the pressure is at. Is there a good spot in the line to do that, and if so, what pressure should I be looking for.

there is a place to connect a fuel pressure gauge on the fuel rail to the injectors it will have a cap like a tyre valve cap, the pressure without vacuum is 3 bar and with is 2.5 bar
