New clutch at 30,000 miles?
So I bought a used 2008 TT a few months ago with around 25k miles on it. I've since put on another 2000 miles and my clutch is shot. I've driven manual vechicles for 15 years without any issues and while the previous owner may have run the vehicle hard, having to replace the clutch with less than 30,000 miles seems outrageous to me.
The dealer hasn't been able to inspect the clutch yet as we're waiting for parts but they are doubtful that the warrenty will cover the repair.
Is it just me or is it insane to think that the clutch should go belly up on such a low mileage vehicle? Does anyone have any experience with a similar issue? Any advice on how I could plea my case to Audi to have the warrenty cover the fix?
Help!
