One of the worst parts of the TT when I got it were the worn out brakes. Rotors were too worn to be turned and the pads were shot. The dust on the front wheels was nasty!

Went with the PowerSlot Rotors and Hawk HPS pads. All I can say is WOW! Almost lost my front tooth on the steering wheel the first time I stepped on the brake! Lol! Car stops amazing now. Another bonus is that my wheels no longer get coated with that nasty black dust. After reading allot it seems that the stock pads just do that.

Time to go out and plays some more. :-)

 

Nice choice. The worst is actually when i go my car and not even a day later my brother blows up a pad (yes blew up, new pads) sending dust all down the side of my car. Im still finding some from time to time and its been over a year.

 

Thanks, I can't believe how much the stock pad brake dust stuck to stuff. Happy to not have to deal with that now.

 

Stopping is a good thing... glad you can now do so!
When someone cuts me off, or stops short I always giggle to myself thinking "If I was them I'd want this car behind me". In regards to the TT's stopping power.
Even with stock discs and pads, this car stops better than anything else I've driven. Of course once they're upgrade it only gets better!

 

Been great so far. Now that they are fixed, I agree it is the best stopping car I have driven.

 

Ive got wilwood 4 pistons and i scare people how late i can break.
