There are a few options for that, but i think the best is going to ATPturbo.com and getting a 1" filter that will fit over the sai hose. Its like another $15. Others have also done the smaller breathers from the local part stores which are about $10 but really small. Last option is people take microphone covers and attach them over the hose, cheap but will block anything large going in.

The stack will outflow the ese. If cost is an issues, you can always do the blox setup which will cost about $100.

No, you will read lower and really mess up the a/f. You shouldnt mess with maf diam.
