Does it help all that much with performance, or is it just for sound? I have a 2001 225, and I'm considering getting it, but wanted to get some feedback from you guys. Thanks

No power but will increase spool, the stock airbox is pretty is good for the tiny k04 but the pflow "flows" better in the tests I have seen. I have one and I like it but it's spendy for what it is and the gain is not worth it's money. Many on here like the AEM dry flows or a standard conical filter with a velocity stack and they can be had for half the cost.

Yea they are alil pricey, but, i will say if you love hearing your car spool up like me, youll never look back. Mine sounds like a jet plane gettin ready to take off lol. Its kinda funny when you role past a turbo diesel ford F350 and your louder than it haha. Performace wise, theres nothing happening there(even though K&N swore it would, which i knew in advance it was really just a good sells pitch). I bought mine for just the fact that i could say i have one, and get the noise at the same time. Hey, and it looks pretty too!!!

You can also do the basically the same setup with a blox stack and filter off ebay. Its $65 shipped but you still need a coupler which is fine for a 180 since we need a 3->2.75 reducer.
