It's one of those cases where you pay a mechanic 1 dollar to tighten a clamp and 99 dollars for knowing which one to tighten - rephrasing the ancient joke about russian cars and a sledgehammer. And I am pretty sure it's not in my head because I barely get any turbo kick, and the car feels almost like it's an atmospheric - no punch in the back at 3k+ rpms in any gear.

I'll try to tighten any clamps that I can reach tomorrow morning, though - now it's dark and the engine is still hot. By the way, is it also normal that some pump (sounds like a water pump to me) is running for several minutes after I kill the engine?

Oh and I just realized I don't actually own any flat-head screwdrivers... I never needed them, being a computer junkie, and the only thing I had to fix on my old car during 4 years of ownership was a front headlight bulb replacement.

Thanks for great responses though - I'm sure you guys already saved me a ton of time and money.

you have coolent that still flows through the turbo after the car is turned off to drop the temp faster.

Yep, called the 'after-run coolant pump'.

Anytime the key is cycled (on/off) it'll run for approx 2 minutes I believe.

That's what I thought. I'm just being paranoid, I guess, but I do have some common sense in me.
