Need Replacement Antenna

Need Replacement Antenna
I just uncovered my 2001 TT to get it ready for fair weather driving. I noticed that the antenna rubber covering just fell apart. There isn't anything left to glue back together, just the metal core sticking up. I'm worried about water getting in there. Does anyone know where to get a replacement and how easy is this to do?
Thanks for your help.

The lock nut for the antennae is under the headliner, and that is a pain in the a$$ to remove. You need to remove the visors, doom light, plus all the trim pieces. But you may be able to get to it if you only remove the rear center trim piece at the hatch. But be careful as you man-handle the headliner. It is made of a thin-ish piece of fiberboard and can be cracked easily.
Probably better off trying to cover it with a piece of rubber hose or similar with the ends sealed with black silicone adhesive/caulk. Or even better, can you unscrew the pointy end leaving only the base. Then cover the base. The roof antennae is only for the phone-prep, not radio, so you don't need it.
cheers
