Ray, what's up with the unitronic?

Are you a dealer?
I haven't heard anything about them...
Cels?
Reliability?
Customer service?
Price?
yep im a dealer, took alot of work to make that happen and im really glad for it. also, i could have been a dealer for revo or apr also, chose unitronic, so take from that what you will.

they are still newer than the others. but there are also the hardest working. they are chip tuners, thats it. where apr is the walmart of this industry they are the mom and pop shop. just quality.

customer service is one of the biggest reasons i went uni. i can make a call now and they will work with me to resolve a issue. ryan saw this first hand when his car would not flash load because of revo trial software that "dosent really do anything after its gone" (sarcasm here)

prices are good, the bt software is more expensive but i dont think you will find anyone that would use anything else. also do some homework all the fastest me7 cars out there that are still on stock management are using unitronic software. the most recent are those psyco's in ny forcefed engineering putting down 675 wheel on stock management.

Ed's not using Uni, he is full standalone. It was tuned by Kevin Black. Ed is however now a uni dealer also, that might be what your thinking.

Here you go Autronic SM4

The BT chips dont compare. The uni 630 tunes are probably the best avaiable. The VVT and wb o2 make them even better.

I'm not planning on leaving ko4 land.

Just wantsome extra powerto talk myself into keeping this thing for a while.

The 135i seems like it's gona price itself out of what I think it's worth.

Low 30's was perfect, but now that it's looking more like high 30's, more weight than originally thought, and a few other things, i'm not so convinced.

Uni > Revo

Incredible difference.

Here is a quote from my Revo Trial Thread.

its not quite as aggressive as I thought. i guess I mean its not quite as big a difference as anticipated. still worth $499 IMO.
I'd like to change the last part to its NOT worth the $499 IMO.

The Unitronic is 10x better. Its definitely as agressive as I wanted out of a S/W upgrade.

Keep in mind though that Uni did a custom remap for me. The listed S/W for my 180FWD was not equal to what APR said I could get. APR had the highest HP/Tq numbers. I told Ray (over the phone) that I would most likelygo with APR becaue I wanted the higher numbers. He called me back in an hr and said Uniwoulddo a custom file for me that would smoke the APR numbers. It was 100% worth it. ($$$ wise.) So I'm at a listed 230hp/270tq vs 215hp/247tq.

+1. Definitely sounds interesting, depending on the cost.

I'm not able to tell you what my Uni cost. It was custom.
