Default Need help making 08 TT (automatic) faster?

Hi guys,

I currently own a 2008 Audi TT 2.0 Turbo Coupe (Automatic) and I would like to make it faster. Let me go ahead and tell you right now, I don't know anything about cars, but I absolutely enjoy driving and I'm always out every weekend cruising around with my friends. My budget is about $10,000 maximum, but I'd like to save as much money as possible. Right now the car is doing 0-60 in 5.7s seconds and I was wondering if $8,000 would be enough to mod this car to be running 0-60 in 4.5s or faster? Let me know what you would do and any links to where I can buy the stuff would be great too. Also who would you recommend I go to, to get my stuff done? Audi dealer?

One last thing...I'm absolutely in-love with the sound of my friends WRX turbo...i hear the blow off valve like crazy the (tshhhh) sound, and I just absolutely love having that sound. Could you help tell me how I can get my Audi to make that sound when driving?

Thanks A LOT, I really appreciate anyone who is able to seriously help me in this

here is a link of the sound I'm talking about: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YbeJx_sf8Bo

if u get an intake like a p-flo or k&n and a forge Split-R dv/bov hybrid i hve this setup on my 03 tt n i run 11psi n its actually louder thn some subies with full bov's n it wont interfere with ur maf cause it still recurculates 70% of ur boost incase u didnt know vw's and audis r tuned to run with diverters not bov's but this gives u the sound u want n its relatively cheap with ur budget at around 350ish depending on where u live n if u install it urself and the installation is straight forward although im not sure how easy the dv replacement on the mk2 is.
as for goin faster youd need an an ecu flash for 4.5 ish 0-60 im guessin stage 3 which need alot of supporting mods such as intake, exhaust, downpipe, FMIC, full silicone hose kit, btr DV or BOV (Split-R will handle the increased boost easy), and a boost gauge among other things, check out www.goapr.com they know wht there doing also ur most likely gonna need internal work like new rods
hope this helps
