Need help with an engine mount.
Okay, so the top hole has 3 stripped rows of threads. Might not be major, but it just might be. Either way, its not worth the risk.
So... this mount is the 2 piece mount that gets pulled when you do the timing belt job; its on the passenger side. I looked at ECSTuning and the mount they show looks NOTHING like this mount. Hell, it isnt even 2 pieces. Is it still the same mount? I have a 2001 AWP engine.
I need WHATEVER piece it is that the mount screws into and the stretch bolts, and the dogbone mount stretch bolts as well so I can change my bushings.
What part do I need to replace? I dont think the mount itself is bad... just what it screws into.
Thanks.

RE: Best place to buy this engine mount?? and what is the PN / Name of the mount?
but which mount is it? what is the PN / name? The mount in my car looks MUCHdifferent than the one ECS tuning is selling.

Hey guys... is this the same engine mount? I found it on ebay, and im not looking to buy it, but I just need visual verification - because if this *is* the mount, then that would mean the mount is not stipped and its whatever the mount screws into in that first picture...
The hole the passenger side engine mount screws into (above picture - top hole) is stripped... Exactly which part do I need to replace and where can I buy it? I would consider a HeliCoil kit, but I have not had very good luck. I also need the OEM stretch bolt kit for this mount - I can only find the dogbone bolts...

edit:
l
Both bolt heads -b- must be flush with the edge of the support arm -2-.
l
The distance -a- between engine mounting -1- and support arm -2- must be 13 mm.
–
Check gap -a- with 12 mm iron bar

I wonder what it would cost to have it repaired professionally at a machine shop. I really have bad stories using helicoil. I have lots of faith in the coils, just not in my application process of the coils. :-)
