Default need to change Timing belt? ---->(New question, scroll down please)

Dear all TT owners,
I am offically a TT owner now. Purchased a 2001 TT 225Q.
The TT has 95000 miles on it and the owner said didn't do the timing belt yet.
I will change it by this weekend, but I saw ECS has the kit with some light pully. Are they worth to get them? any Pro/Con of light weight?
thanks!

Do the ECS or DieselGeek kit, with all applicable stuff including the pulley's, it's worth it

Make sure you get new stretch bolts. Some people reuse them but they should really be replaced, ECS sells them.

i believe most TT owners said replace the belt at 60k is the best solution.
but the audi service manual said my 225Q timing belt job at 120k... well.. I will change asap anyway...

It's not the belt that goes. It's the tensioner and waterpump.
Changing the belt and accesories at 60k is what most TT owners do. Simply because this is where most start to have problems.

Your safe to modify the car up to 180k easily, just do the maintanence etc.. The internals are good and strong, and the car is built factory for boost, however, the more you tinker with it, the more you HAVE to tinker with it.

Now, I am shopping for the timing belt kits, from ECS and DieselGeek
ECS:
http://www.ecstuning.com/stage/edpd/...o&engine=225HP
DieselGeek
http://www.dieselgeek.com/Detail.bok?no=278

I don't need light weight pully as most owners said don't waste the $$. and other good deals?
btw, will gonna flush the cooling system also, how many L for the coolant?
thanks for helping!
