Nah, what I meant was the charger cable for my GPS comes up through that vent into my GPS, my gauge is staying put in the AC vent. I took the car charger for my GPS taped it up inside the dash somewhere and soldered an ignition switched lead and the ground above the pedals to it.

 

I know, i just wanted to have some fun at others expense. Still think he should have his passenger hold the gauge out the window, has to be closer to him.

 

same topic diff question... is there an updated CD with maps for those with built in gps navi? i think some new roads are not on mine...and it's only 3 years old...i wonder if a dealer would sell them.
