Default top problem

Don't know what year you have but my 08 did the same thing twice. I just got a recall notice for 08 and 09s for a flap replacement for top failures. Call your dealer for info.

Yes I have the same problem. It seems that the Hydraulik motor is not working or that there is not enough fluid. the problem is that you have to remove the top to get to the part....I just replace the top three months ago and now I am being told it would cost around $1600 parts and labour....

wow , so many problems on the new ones?
Glad I have an 02.
I put silicon on all the moving parts and wipe the rubber trims.
Needs baby care just like a garage door if you don't want the motor to die anytime soon.

Actually make sure you dont have a leak in your roof....My top, windows, and interior light stop working and what happened was that the water went down under the rear carpet and made the relays to stop working. The whole unit is $460> i ended up going to a junkyard and found the same relay but that is very rare to do lol. goodluck
