if you have a bunch of tension on the bumper, it can break much easier. EIther try to refit it or trim a little.

I guess I should have mentioned that I had to cut a nice size chunk out of the inside of the bumper, lol... a lot of the plastic where the lower side grille and alien sprayer mount needs to be cut off, the pass. side isin't as bad but I did a little trimming there too, it was a real PITA for me cause I didn't have any type of cutting tool. I had to just use a drill to cut all that stuff off.

I really suggest you take the bumper back off and trim a lot of that out, I think you might be asking for trouble if you don't, because as of now you have a good bit of pressure on that bumper, and every time those IC pipes pressurize and swell its going to REALLY put some strain on the bumper and bolts that hold it on.

I apologize for not letting you guys know about the necessary trimming, I totally left that out [sm=sorry.gif]

No worries man...thanks for the tip, I appreciate it.
I need to take it back apart anyways to do a little more adjusting on the driver-side head light. It was after 8pm when I got done.I needed to have it back together to drive to work at 6:30am. Plus I was already tired from the night before and working in the hot sun with a slight hang-over...ugh.
Now that I know how everything is put together it should be a snap to take it all apart again. No more dealing with the stock IC's which I found to be the biggest pain of the entire install. It took me forever to get those front torx out due to lack of room.

I should also mention that I the switch mounted and wired how I want it... upon further testing, the check valve only seems to be holding the water in the tank some of the time. I might have to take it out, cut it open and modify the spring if its at all possible.

so I do suggest getting a check valve or similar valve that was more made for something this rather than the pvc one

come on now, i thought you had this perfected by now [8D]. When you do, you can come and do it to mine. And if you havent seen it, someone on the a4 section put a fan behind his ic . He claims he should have logs posted later tonight.

haha well with it being a custom build, I just had some bugs to work out... had I realized it would siphon the tank in the first place I would have had time to get a sufficient valve... the pvc valve was the best thing I could find in town
