Well, i cut my muffler off today, ran a couple 45 degree pipes back from where i cut it and then got a new exhaust tip...

sound gains are.. wowzers, haha, it really sounds good and the best part is it is not obnoxiously loud at idle and only gets louder when you get on it more and more..

performance gains, not much, less restriction so maybe i see boost a little quicker, i was too busy focusing on the sound though haha

so at the end of the day, ~75 for piping and miscelaneous items and just about an hour underneath the car

I had tossed around the idea of having a 3" DP and just weld in an electronic open dump straight off the DP and leaving the stock exhaust for around town cruising...that way it isn't obnoxiously loud but when I wanna really get on the throttle I just press a button and wah la straight dump...very sleeper but ultimately I went with my version of this (and may add a dump later.

 

you should see a little more hp but the torque will go down "off the line". doesn't it sound like its growling !!!

I've ran mine without my muffler...its not rice rocket, and its not hot rod !!!

 

i myte muffler delete my neuspeed.

i already deleted my resonator.. now with a muffler delete... =O

 

can you say tractor....? You need something on there otherwise it will sound horrible
