Looked at an '04 S4 six speed today. Really sweet black on black with 49K. Being that my TT's paid off, I can't bring myself to take on a loan for the difference......but

Now when did they change from the twin turbo to the 8 cyl? I love the S4 and wouldnt mind having one either.

I love the B5s because they are TT but the V8 is gorgeous!

01 s4=bi-turbo
02 s4=sick v8

Engine configuration correlates to the body conversion: b5 to b6 chassis.

Stick with the TT its overall design is almost 10 years old and automakers are just now starting to catch up with its geometric lines.A four door is a four door.No matter what you do it will look old quicker then a sports car especially when dealing with the TT.Although i will say that i like the 04 A4 better then the newer generations styling due to its bauhaus design.

Actually, they didn't start the putting the 4.2L V8 in the S4 until the '04 B6. The last run of the 2.7T was in '02. I believe they skipped year '03 in the states.

I've been contemplating the B6 S4 as well.I prefer the B6 exterior vs the B5. The 4.2L is a good reliable engine and the B6 frame/suspension is better as far as stability/rigidity.

Hope this helps!

I've also been interested in a TT... What are the specs on your car?

That sounds right. With gas prices as high as they are, i would think about keeping my 1.8.
