How is the Pentosin oil available fro ECS?
I can't really find any info on it. I figured it' can't be bad considering ECS recommends it, and Pentosin also makes the best hydraulic fluid in the world.

I need to do an oil change soon and i'm doubting between Redline, Royal purple and Pentosin.

Commnets?

Other oil suggestions are welcome too, of course.

castrol 5w40 and valvoline 5w30 synpower are both 502 approved oils and will work great. Plus they both should be available locally.

 

really won't matter much. just get a VW 502 approved oil and forget about it.

 

the pentosin 5W-40 is 502 approved.
I guess that means go?

Is the 505 standard better or just for different engines?

 

i stock pentosin oil also, good stuff. the best is lubro moly. also hard to find though.
