MK2 TT's Suck.
The New TT's Suck.
Ok, now that I have your attention:
I like the new style and I think it is a worthwhile car if you aren't a real driver. Everything on the market kicks it's *** right now I think audi took a step in the right direction with most of the updates on the new TT, but the whole industry has been making leaps instead.
How is audi competing with the rest of the market?
You new model owners... What the hell were you thinking?
There are so many other cars that do everything that the TT does, and better for less $
How is audi able to float the TT?
Example of a product in their own line:
I was at the dealer last week
Sticker on a 3.2 TTis $45k.
The S5 Sticker is around $50k.
Why would anyone think twice about the TT?
I know they are different cars, but to me it's a no-brainer.

****... the 500hp Shelby GT500 Mustang is only $45k
s2000, EVO, and 350zare 10k less
Saturn Sky redline, solstice GXP...
Not as classy, but their performance kills the TT.

That's what started this thread...
Plus, I had a loaner 2007 A4 over the weekend. I didn't want to give it back.
A coupe version with almost double the HP (S5) would be a very fun car.
Why were you there???

You just have to think of the tuning potential. You buy a BMW whatever and your pretty much stuck to basic boltons and same goes for the others unless you drop tons more for forced induction (new 1series excluded for now). When/if the TT comes in a 2.0T and awd it will match if not pass the others in performance, comfort, style, and so on. Id still rather pull up in a MKI than and the others listed.... well maybe a Lotus as a fun car.
