Default Milltek exhaust on a TT I am looking at.

One TT I am looking at has a Milltek exhaust on it. Is this considered a good piece? I have found pricing in the 999 range, but I wanted to know if you guys thought it was good or lame.

I have a Milltek catback exhaust and am very happy with it. It produces a low, deep sound and does not drone. Its a little louder over stock but not much.

Arguably one of the best, I'll trade you my stock one plus some money if you don't want it

Seems all the cat back systems produce similar hp gains - it's mostly down to look and sound that sets opinions apart. Milltek sounds deeper and you can get resonated and non resonated (haven't a clue to the sound diff - maybe someone can elaborate) - but from what I hear the Milltek gets deeper as it breaks in...

Debating on if it's worth the $$ - the Borla system is about $250 less and sounds almost as good.

If it already has the Millitek on it, just keep it you will enjoy the deep sound better than a stock one for sure. I have heard nothing but good things from those that have the $$$ to spend on it. Me money was tight so I went with Borla.

I LOVE MY MILTEK EXHAUST and the burble sound it does like exploding rumble sounds when you let the gas out you have to be outside your car to hear it and get one of your trusted friends to give it when it passes you... thats how i found out.. u cant really hear it that loud... when your inside your car which is weird...
