Default mechanical or electrical

i am about to install a boost and oil pressure gauge in my two center vents, both of the gauges are mechanical. i heard that mechanical gauges are really accuate but, they can leak oil and cause some problems, should i go try and sell my mechanical gauges and buy electrical ones or should i risk it?
