Default mbc installed, problems

I got a hpbc turbo xs and installed it, it works great when I first use it, started psi was 10 then turned it up to 15 then up to 21 and worked great. then turn the car off and on and only goes to 10 then slowly drops to 5 ans you hear the wastegate open. this is being floored it would do this even in 5th at 70mph. was driving on the highway and tried setting cruise control and it got jumpy going into boost, then lost all power, and the traction light and another light came on but not check engine light. and pulled over and started agin and lights were off and still did the boost problem. and yes I checked for blown off hoses and such.

How is it installed and how did you have it set?

its installed with n75 still plugged in and then hoses hooked up correctly. so n75 is electronically still there just no hoses. and then turned the **** out 3 turns and then the allen wrench one turned to about 18. then fine tuned the **** one up to about 20. if i set the mbc again(meaning turn it down to around 10 and then tune up again) it works until I turn the car off again. atleast that's what it did last night.

That really CANT happen. Its a mechanical device, not electronical.

As for the mbc, neither one is too loose or to tight. You can check the brass fiting with the b&s in it to make sure that its on there tight and not leaking. Also try lowering on boost control and raising the other to see if that helps.

well I brought it to apt, and they said do not use a mbc on our cars, it will do whatever possible to not let that much in the engine. close the throttle bodies dv and so on. I just did the n249 delete and plugs also. could someone be able to look over my diy make sure everything looks good. it makes sense to me and muderface the way we did it.

my thought was maybe it was seeing the car as overboosting and when I turned it down to what the car saw as a safe level it was good again. is that possible? if I had an electrical problem where did the resistor for n249 delete I would get a light right?

To remove the n249, it just doesnt need to be inline with the dv. Belive there is another code that you will get by removing the n249 and n115 that the resister doesnt stop. The car could be boosting to fast and more bleed would help prevent that. Not sure where this no mbc on these cars came from

for our delete we got the vacuum source from under the intake manifold, and then teed that off into the hose going to the DV and n112(i think) the valve under the metal bracket in front of the engine. Is this correct. And also I have the improper flow delete code on my apr ecu.

So what would those two lights mean, because as soon as i turned the car off and on they went off. They are the same two lights you get if u dont have a maf sensor plugged in.
