Just wondering if anyone has had a run in with either of these two cars and what your opinions are on them. I ran a Mazdaspeed 6 at the 1/8 mile and man was it slow, for all the HP and AWD. I dunno maybe one day with alot of work they can be fast. But anyone else seen either of these two cars on the street/strip? Thanks!

 

haha well minus the track... my friend had a the 3... it is a safe car if your looking for that cause he lost control, rolled it twice, and hit a tree and walked out of the car... My buddy behind him who saw it called 911 and said he thinks he died, scariest s*** hes ever seen... Ill try to get a pic up to show what a "totalled" car is all about..

 

Hey everyone I raced a 2005 mazda 3 hatch ( friends) its 5 spd, intake, w/e and i smoked it in every gear.

 

The new 3's are suppose to be pretty fast. I tried to test drive one a few time to see, but all the Mazda dealers sold them before they took delivery. Im not sure if its going to be crap like the protege's were, t25 turbo and cant take any more boost or bump to a t28. Thats pretty ghey. So only time will tell. Someone should find a 3 site and stalk them.

 

even if it had the 2.3 in it, its still not a fast car, maybe 150-160hp and not to much torque.

 

Yea the regular 3 isnt that fast but the speed3 is supposed to be the new hott hatch. dragtimes.com has one with a GT30R that only ran 13 flat Course it looks like he was using all of ATP's stuff for the upgrade. I think I am going to go stalk them like Cincy said.

 

The new speed3 is suppose to be faster than the MK5 GTI and even worst than that the new Caliber SRT-4 has more HP. God that thing is ugly. I think I read that on Autoblog.

 

The calibers are soo ugly I cant wait to run one on the street so I can talk ****. I didnt like the Neon either but I would rather have that than the Caliber, what is it? I minivan, car, suv? Does anyone really know??
