Default Maf-Less??

Question? I see these guys running Big Turbo setups or even just stock setups and they are running without a MAF. They just re-route their hoses, lines, and DV or BOV. Now I know it will throw a code to run with the MAF unplugged but what are thepros and consof doing this? I see 1.8T with just filters on the end of the tubos and I wonder why? Anyone have any ideas or info for me. Thanks!

Default RE: Maf-Less??

most are either stand alone or revo files. some people have found it easier to run without a maf than to adjust the file via lemmiwinks to get the file to run right (revo). The car just runs off default map files instead. Not the best for power, but can be done.
