Low boost and chipped ?

Low boost and chipped ?
I have a 225 tt year 2000, I put a APR (93) chip in it. I then installed a Prosport boost gauge. Im only getting 11psi at the most on my gauge!, and it's effort to get it to that #.
Any ideas ? Would it be a leak? The gauge seems very responsive to my accelerator, so im quite sure all is hooked up right. And yes, I replaced the DV with one from APR.
Thanks

RE: Low boost and chipped ?
Well since there is no 225 in 2000, they didnt start till 01. Also 11psi is right on what a 2000 180 would be psi wise. You sure you got chipped and have a 225? Please read the FAQ and make sure

RE: Low boost and chipped ?
Low power could be due to the MAF being weak. A chip will push a marginal MAF beyond it's limits. Try unplugging it and see if the power comes back. If not, you may have a boost leak.

problems still, low boost and limp mode
The car goes into limp mode when I drive the car hard. I have to pull over and turn the car off and restart it. I cleaned the MAF, and changed the air filter. The car has a APR flashed 93 chip in it; however Im only getting stock boost numbers! It does not peak above 12, and its very difficult to get it to that. Any ideas people? im not ready to take it to the dealer just yet.
