That particular Elise is the previous generation. That was a Motor Sport Elise. The previous generation had I believe a rover engine. The Elise was not sold in the US because of our weird emissions laws. This is why then new Elise and the new Motor Sport Elise (Exige) use the Toyota engine. Plus it has more horse power. But if you want to see a great mod try and find the Motor Sport Elise with the Esprit V8 Twin Turbo in it. That FLEW!
