losing oil?

RE: losing oil?
IS your car under warranty still? I know the mileage is low, but what year is it. I would avoid ever adding any oil additive since virtually every manufacturer says not to and using an additive can void your warranty. I would wait until the dealer examines it before adding any additive.Stick with keeping it topped off.
Let's say you add a quart every two weeks. That's 26 quarts a year. At $6 per quart for synthetic (or buy it on sale), that's $156 per year. A LOT cheaper than paying for repairs that are not under warranty.

ORIGINAL: JettaRedII
Then pay the $100 and get it fixed now, whatever the problem is. It'll be much more than that if you let it get out of warranty.

RE: losing oil?
I don't remember where I saw it, but i bet of you search for a while you will find something like I did.Is there any noticeable loss of fluid anywhere? Any smoke? It has to be going somewhere. That is a lot of fluid loss.
