Well I wanted a Roadster, and I actually had test driven and practically purchased a used 350Z roadster, but after my wife drove it and said it was too “masculine” I was forced to reconsider. Then she says to me…”What about the Audi TT convertible”. I had completely overlooked the TT……

So I test drove a 2004 TT 225hp yesterday and I have to say I was pretty impressed. My wife loves it, and I have to say it IS classier than the 350Z. Well anyways, it is a 04 225hp Quattro Roadster in grey, with 32K miles. They want 22K for it. After reading this forum and all the available mods out for it, I have to say I am leaning towards this now more than the 350z.

If it was me I'd go for the luxury of the TT over the plasticy crampedcockpitof the 350z. I don't think the TT is going to be as fast as the Z but it should be more fun to drive cuz of the AWD.

 

The 225 can easily be faster than a Z. There was a post a couple days ago about a tt beating a z. I dont think they're that fast.

 

Well I have test driven both of them within the past 3 days andI could not tellthat much of a difference between them as far as speed and acceleration is concerned.Of course I am comparing a turbo to a non-turbo so it's kinda tough...:-) I also test drove a brand new 08 Mazdaspeed3, which was just insane....too bad it’s a wagon :-(

 

The Mazdaspeed cars are rocket ships.

 

I'm sure it can and I'd totally go with the Audi. I'm just saying that the stock 350z is on par with a B5 S4. I don't know the TTs to well but I don't think they're that fast from the factory.

 

I'm pretty sure an S4 would wax a 350z

 

Well I purchased the Audi TT Quattro Roadster this morning...I am so excited. I will take pictures and post sometime this weekend.
