I think an epoxy would be best. I am told that silicone breaks down in high heat (have not witnessed this myself, though). You don't need to use a ton, either, just a nice bead around. Maybe put epoxy in four to five 1/4" wide areas around the diameter, then come back after it dries and put a full bead of silicone?

but it didn't seem like it would hold up even though I used my heat gun on it for a good 15 mins (of course not directly on the PCB board ) Maybe I need to give it more time to cure, I want to use this thing already, it's so damn sweet, it even works in my friends 2001 Jetta 1.8t and I think 90% of the options were working Mike you need to figure out a way to mount that thing in the Mk4 Golf/Jetta's you would make a killing with those guys
