Default Limp Mode

In the past I was asking questions about an acceleration hesitation I was having. It turned out to be a MAF that was going. The kid who vagged my TT disconnected the MAF while the new one was being shipped and I drove like that for a day or two. After the MAF was replaced I was running in what seemed like stock. I was pushing max 11 pounds. I also developed an air condition problem. It worked but was blowing hot air.

Today I brought my car back to the APR placeand theysaid that my car is in limp mode. A code that needed to be removedwas preventing me from running at full power. The APR guy said he had the same AC problem with an R32.Because the car is runningin limp mode it was preventing a switch in the AC from engaging. Has anyone heard of anything like this?

11psi wouldnt be limp mode. Also you can be like me and have a dead ac compressor. It works and only blows hot air. The two are not related.

I'm hoping that it is nothing like that cause I was told that to get at something like that the dash and steering column had to come out. I can't afford an 18 hour job and I'm arfraid of what else can get f'ckd up while putting it back together.

the ac compressor is under the cam gears in the engine bay. you dont have to mess with the dash.
