Light Weight battery will fire?
Dear,
I was talking about the light weight battery with my friend who do body work. He told me there are few customer that fire their car after the put the light weight kind of battery. That scared me.
is it true?

Think he means catch fire.
There are plenty of TT owners that run a lightweight battery.
I can't tell you which one/brand they use, but I'm sure a few guys around here can help you out.
By the way body work differs greatly from the mechanics of a car.

i have an optima red top 35 and it weighs around 23 lbs as oppossed to 50lbs like the stock also there is lighter weights than that like 12lbs but they are not recommended if you have an aftermarket stereo system. never heard of them catching fire unless some metal bridged the positive lead or something(which will make a spark)
