RE: koni + hotchkis = ....
You're right the hotchkis springs do lower the car .9 of an inch.
I just wonder if they are talking 9/10ths or 9/16ths.... Pretty big difference there.
Kinda wish I measured before, so I'd have something to compare it to...

Well, whatever the drop actually is I LOVE IT!
Got back from my alignment, and everything went smoothly. I took her on a few local twisties, and she handles like a dream!
I just need to play around with the dampening a bit, but that's a personal preference. Koni gives you this nifty little **** to adjust the firmness of the ride.
Just open the hood and pop the strut covers off, turn to your liking! I didn't think it was possible but she's actually tighter in the turns!
The car just flows, like I'm figure skating on the road!
Would I recommend doing this? HELL YES!!
Two very big [sm=smiley20.gif][sm=smiley20.gif]
costs:
Hotchkis lowering springs: $150
Koni rear shocks: $250 (pair)
Koni front struts: $350 (pair)
Half KMAC kit: $150 (I got a free bushing extraction tool, thanks TTstuff!)
Alignment done at independent shop: $98
Time to complete: 2 full days
Total costs: 2 Days and $998 all totally worth it IMO!
No idea what this would of cost if I paid someone to do... But I figure 2 grand is a good guess.

Those are some good prices, where all did you the springs, shocks and struts?

I got the Hotchkis springs from the Tire Rack following that link that CincyTT published in a thread I participated in. They were $145. I was going to get the Konis from the Tire Rack for $600 for the set of four, but the front struts are back ordered until the first week of June. I ended up with the Bilstiens for $700 shipped from the Tire Rack. I'm not going to bother with the Half KMAC kit since the car is being dropped within it's alignable specs.
