Koni FSD, thoughts?

RE: Koni FSD, thoughts?
I love my Konis, paired them up with Hotchkis lower springs.
Didn't want to drop the TT too much; mostly because I drive in all 4 seasons.
You'll love the stiff suspension when taking any turn! It just holds and never wants to let go.
My only suggestion to you is to look into a KMAC kit.

Yes, it allows the alignment shop to bring the rear camber back into spec.
A KMAC kit is just adjustable bushings. Depending on how low you're going, determines whether or not you need a full or half kit.

I plan on lowering 1.1" with Eibach and Koni FSD's, will I need the KMAC?

and if I can afford it to go with the whole kit. However, I just ordered the 1/2 kit from TT Stuff because the Eibach springs
will only lower it28mm which is only a tad over an inch. So hopefully I will be okay with the 1/2 kit and they can adjust the
camber properly. I was also told to wait with the alignment until the suspension has settled some. So I will let it settle for
about 2 weeks before I will align it. But YES, you will need the Kmac kit or at least 1/2 the kit or you will wear the inside of your
tires prematurely. The 1/2 kit goes onto the lower control arms. I am waiting for the kit to arrive before I will have them do the install.
The FSD/Eibach combo has been recommended to me by the performance shop. He has been with Audi/Porsche for 30 years and
opened up his own shop. He has seen many suspension combos but swears by the Koni FSD dampers and the Eibach Prokit makes
it a perfect combination. Coilovers are great as well but I don't want to mess with adjustments etc. I just want a good shock/strut
and spring combo. And with this combo you get a great suspension without sacrificing streetability and comfort.
