Mwwahhaaa I'll be putting these on the day they get in! I sat on these for 3 days at the bare minimum reserve and nobody else bid on it. I couldn't believe it. Times are tough, people selling LOW. Now's the time to get my girlfriend's engagement ring off her ex for cheap!

these are not adjustable are they? I wonder how the performace aspect is on them I have the 7 way with h&r springs and i like them but the ride is stiff enough to where i should have bought coilovers. I got mine off a guy on the vortex for $350 and he was in my area. he got them from his brother for free to sell.

no, they are not adjustable i or dampening. They change dampening "automatically" mechanically by opening a port in response to the frequency of vibrations etc, so they soften up on washboard roads for example, other wise are fairly stiff. I have been running them a little over a year with the eibach progressive rate springs they came with and some neuspeed antisways front and back and have been quite happy. I was never looking to tuck or be able to raise or lower ride height, so they were a good option. Drop is much less than advertised, only about afingers worth. It takes alot to even get the back end to chirp out a bit, whoever got or gets them will be happy depending what else they have been running.
I took the oppurtunity to replace sway links too, I would recomend doing antisway bars when installing these, ant to remember to plan to get an alignment. In retrospect, I wouldve gone with adjustable arms rather than the kmac.
PS that DP pissed me off, I paid him, but apparently he got my payment second. Ah well.

What I was saying is I took the auction. It's supposed to only be an inch drop, but I guess we'll see. Random, you been happy with the fsb too? I hear lots of people saying they like the ride better with just the rsb, but I've got both ready to install.

word, bird. I gleaned you won the auction, but there are others on here running the fsd's beside me. Its impossible for me to say what I like vs dont like in the new suspension set up. Before I made the change I had a leaking damper (shock), cracked front sway bar bushing, and both rear springs were cracked, so.....anything was an improvement :-) I did the fsb and rsb at the same time, so I cnat help you there. Another thing thats relatively cheap to upgrade is the "dogbone" since it sits at the middle of the fsb, its a good time to upgrade. A word of caution, I hear that the dogbone can be installed upside down/backwards as wasily as the right way, and if you do, then the flex shaft will rub on your new fsb and make a rackekt, just a rumor :-P Achttung is a proponent of a arm bushings as well, I havent driven his car nor he mine, so again, hard to compare. I look forward to playing with the car though in a couple weeks at an audi winter driving school. :-)
