1" is a decent drop for a TT. If you dont have access to and air compressor for the top shock mounts, you will need a special tool/wrench to get it off. I dont remember if your fwd or awd, but here is some fwd links (just the rears will be different for awd, but still self explainitory.) The second link has the tool or wrench you will need if no air tools.
sping install
coilovers (has a better needed tool section)
also you should get some shocks also, if your stock arent shot by now, they will be shortly after install (3-12months maybe). Also if you are awd, you should get a 1/2 Kmac kit.

Im pretty sure you need a spring compressor to get the job done...
Quick Question... What made the tein springs stick out to you vs. the other ones (neuspeed, H&R, and so forth..) Im looking into getting my TT lowered between 1 and 1.25 inch... Thanks

yes, a spring compressor will be needed.... thought that was a given (hopefully)
tein makes very high end suspension kits (many for jap cars), i wouldnt mind having a superstreet kit with an edfc, but no such luck for a TT [:@]
