interest in full 3in exhaust?? **update**
im just wondering what the interest would be for a full 3in exhaust for the 225 TT. ive talked to Eurojet(well known in the VW community) about it and they are going to take a look at it on thursday. the price for sure will be WAY less then the APR system. like i said just seeing what the interest would be in this system.[sm=icon_cheers.gif]

Sweet darren's TT...cleanest TT out there pretty much. No mirrors, no emblems, spoiler, exhaust cutouts...just needs shaved.
Anyway for a 3" exhaust I'd go 42DD DP then take it to a shop for a catback. Or if you can do the welds and bends yourself that's an option too.

Cat? Well I personally wouldn't run one. I know Milltek makes some high flow cats you can buy though if you want to run them.
Resonator/muffler? Magnaflows are the parts of choice for Dubs. Just make sure you get a straight through muffler not a chambered one...chambered ones cause too much back pressure for our turbo cars.
You can kinda tell if it's straight through or not at a glance; a straight through will usually look a lot smaller, like just a bigger cylinder tacked on the pipe:
Whereas a chambered will usually look like a big box and perhaps have offset inlets/outlets:
For piping you can order 3" piping and fittings off Jegs: http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store...10002_10245_-1
You'll need a 3" Y-pipe if you want duals (which is what I'd do for cosmetics...doesn't flow any better/worse than single but looks much better). I don't remember where I found 3" Y-pipe though I don't think Jegs has it but I found it somewhere.

I'd run a cat just for the sake of staying legal. you never know, my luck.
I wouldn't bother with the Y-pipe, I'd just get a 3.2-style single cutout valance from ttstuff and run a single tip.
Singles look cool imo.

I'm happy with my exhaust. It was expensive, but the quality is there and there were no fitment problems like I've read about with the 42DD downpipe. They also gave me a break on my kit so it was even nicer.

i will know more details tomarrow. but it will be a dual tip for the 225. like i said if there is enough interest they will put it out for production if not it will just be a custom job. they have made full 3in exhaust for the gti (i think there is a vid. clip on youtube, just type in eurojet), so they know what they are doing and the work is top notch.

blue flame and some others are 2.75" and are more than big enough for stock and much larger turbos. About all your realling going to gain from bigger is more noise.
edsgti on vortex made almost 500whp on a 2.5" turboback on a 30r if that tells you anything.
oh, when i say almost, it was like 5whp short and the only reason is because he keep blowing off ic couplers.
