Has anyone used an intercooler mister with their intercooler? And if so which one did you use? I am trying to findout if they are with it and if they perform well. Thanks.

isn't that something that's on the STi stock? i don't know much about it, but seems like it should work in theory...im sure it isn't the most noticeable difference though

VB, put your hand out the window of your car, notice how it feels, now do it again with a wet hand, notice how much colder it feels. Yeah it'll make a difference.

I was thinking on getting one cuz my engine gets really really hot with the new turbo and I know the new intercooler will help alot but cant hurt to get the temp down some more. From what I read the mister has a control box that turns it on and off at peak times. Just might have to check it out. Thanks all.

i'm very surprised that renn art didnt hook u up with a front mount intercooler. they must be dumb as hell to think the stock 180 intercooler could do the job with that turbo set-up

I got the turbo from ATP and the tunning from RENN but ATP never said it should have a FMIC, they said it was good just by swapping which I know now is a lie. The car gets so hot I cant even touch things in the engine compartment for a long while. Thanks for the info on the CO2 cooler I will look into it.

Yea check out Royal Purple's Ice for the radiator, one of my friends races dirt bikes and he swears by it. Its supposed to lower or help lower the temp in the radiator there for helping the engine cool faster. Dunno if its compatable with the fluid in Audi's radiators but check it out it may help. I know when I do my Audi up im gona put in a bigger and better oil cooler where one of my intercoolers are at. After the FMIC of course. But just check it out.
