intercooler diy

You want to remove the OEMs. Adding in a third adds volume to the compressed side of the turbo, making it less efficient. An decent quality FMIC alone is more than enough to cool the charge air sufficiently and efficiently.

Do they still make the T-Carbon Intercooler kit? I remember seeing it for around 500 bucks?! Is that a decent intercooler for the money or do I have to spend over 1k to get one from APR or other company?

^ definitely fabricating your own would be cheaper. pipe fabrication can range from $300-$400...
but it's the core that will cost you. top of the line spearcos and ARCs will drain your wallett but a nice precision/garrett will do the job just fine~

Those are basically garrett cores with their endtanks made specifically for a certain application like a skyline, evo, silvia etc. A good core will run you a few hundred dollars since it takes alot more aluminum to cool the intake charge than what an ebay core uses (what tcabon used. and no, they are out of the MKI game from what i heard).

Maybe he works for a computer screen company and that's their ploy on getting rid of perfectly good computer screen and having them replaced with new and improved ones that have a filter and don't display Prince
