Default intake system 2000 tt 1.8
anyone have any advice im looking to replace my stock airbox with an intake system. im told thebest filters are dry element filters. what are some good ones? links are appreciated.

AEM makes a great one along with HKS and Greddy. But itspointless unless you just want the look or sound.

no, altogether with a stock turbo. People have often LOST hp with an intake.

hmm well we all have to start somewhere. i was thinking intake followed by exhaust then intercooler then bigger turbo.

I got one for the sound... I've noticed no gains in power like cincy said. Sounds really cool though. I have the evolution motorsports v-flow intake.

or is the hp so gain is so low that it can only be appreciated on dyno tests?

No that is not true...haven't you seen the K&N ad banner with the mustang up top?. You can get up to 50+ ponies!!!!!
