Default insurance companies and mods?

Do you guys tell your car insurance company about your mods? If you do how understanding are they? Just curious because my parents are thinking about making me tell our insurance company about all the stuff I have done to my car so that it will all be covered..

I haven't told my insurance about mods, I just don't really have enough body mods for it to really make a difference

I told my agent about all my mods and I have them up to 100 percent, but there is depreciation. But my mom is also my State Farm agent so thats a plus!
