On top of all the other **** going on with my car lately, and getting kicked out of my new apartment after living there only 3 weeks (crazy cat-lady roommate.. it wasn't working out), I was driving back to the apartment tonight, and hit a pothole I hadn't seen before. Split the sidewall on my pass. front tire. Yelled some explitives, and threw the spare on the car... to discover it was mostly flat.

Well, I have air in the spare now, it turns out you don't need a valve stem fitting on an air line, just press the quick disconnect onto the stem, pressure will force it open. I will however, need to replace a set of tires. On the upside, being that the haldex isn't working, I can replace just the fronts, and not worry about the difference in rolling radius with the rears.
At least your job is still going well. Isn't it?

motherfucking savage **** bitchass potholes!!!!!!!!!!!!!

******* spare rim got bent hitting an even bigger pothole than the first, this time submerged, i had no clue it was there, and it *** raped my rim at 15mph. I dont think the tire was at full pressure, looked a little soft when i went out to the car, and i was gonna stop at a gas station and fill it up when i got into town. too ******* late now. to make it even better, i dropped my cell while scraping the ice off my car, and i think some shetbag swiped it in the 10 minutes it took for me to get back to look for it.
I'm carless, and phoneless.

I know Ray, but if I didn't take this job, where were you gonna get your custom flanges for your custom turbo installs?

Anyway, I pried the donut off the steel rim, and hammered it remarkably straight. It holds air for now, I'm gonna let it sit for a few days and see if it leaks down. In the meantime, Random let me borrow one of his fat 5's until my contiextremecontacts (love that name) show up. Mid week I expect, hopefullybe rolling onnew shoes by next weekend.
