You wanna talk long drives?

I just drove from NY to Denver, CO to spend 3 days around New Years, and then drove back. THAT was a long drive...

Best place I know for a drink in the TT, is layingon the floor, between the seat and the door. It kinda just wedges right in there. Thats a closed bottle of course. Canned drinks = Satan. The standard cup holders can do ok if you're not too big. You just need to get to it like you're trying to submit yourself to an arm bar. My fat friend Herb has no chance, but then, he's overweight, and needs to lay off the sweets anyway, so I guess it works out.

I agree completely. If you want a mini-van or american car because you live in america, buy an american car.

There is a reason Americans are fat and lazy compared to almost every other country.

Dont take my smart remarks as being mean or starting problems, but seriously....this is the kind of stuff you should have thought about before you bought this car. Hell even my 7 series didn't have good cup holders...and that car was just over $80k. German cars are ment for driving. Not for eatting or drinking.

To be honest, I dont even allow food or drinks in my car unless they are in a bag or sealed....cant stand people eatting in my cars...

totally, its the best place, easy to reach, and they don't go anywhere. The only thing the cup holder is good for is hiding manual release cables.

How many people know about that?

That's just the connection point for the optional in-car hands free system. The small antenna on the roof of the early models is a cell phone antenna. I removed mine and replaced it with a powered AM/FM antenna since the tint blocks the rear window antenna.

LOLthese are NOT german sports cars,if they were, then that means the europeansdont know how to buildem cuz these things do not perform like a sports car should. I see my tt as a nice little daily driver with just a little pep, and great looks.kinda like a german version of the civic or crx (except a lil nicer looking) with a different flavor, nothing wrong with that.

P.S- with all this health talk about how its wrong to drink "pop" This car comes with a cigarette lighter AND an ashtray, lots of auto manufacturers that care about its customers dont put ashtrays in their cars.My guess is that the germans just didnt have enough room to put proper cup holders in our audis and the reason a 7series BMW doesnt have proper cup holders is because they dont know how to build a comfortable car.If they were really meant to just be "driven" they wouldnt put ANY cupholders big or small in them. Its just half assing

PFFT!

I'm still trying to get over the fact that you used TT and civic/crx in the same sentence comparing eachother...
Once I get over this I'll post a better response!
