Default Ideal TT springs/coilovers

I was wondering what was the ideal brand of springs/coilovers that most TT users go for (perfect ride height, body roll, stiffness, etc.). Eibachs, Tiens, H&R, ??????

Many go with Eibach pro-kit springs and Bilstein sport shocks. This gives a 1.1" drop. If you want a greater drop or the ability to adjust, you'll want to look at KW or Koni coil-overs. I have found the Eibach/Bilstein combo to be the best for my tastes (don't want to worry about adjusting, and don't care for the "slammed" look). Keep in mind you'll want to replace the shocks (don't just do springs, the stock shocks go bad quickly).

I've got the Koni Sport coilovers. Unlike a simple spring change, with coilovers you can adjust height to fit your taste and wheel/tire combination. Plus it allows a shop to corner balance the car correctly to give you the best handling.

Remember if you drop 1 inch you'll need at least a 1/2 K-Mac. More than 1 inch you'll need the full set or a 1/2 in combination with adjustable rear arms to get the alignment back to spec.

Yes I'm real happy with them - from www.jonstintedtails.com btw, price is reasonable as well. Much easier than trying to do it yourself. Nice to have an extra set as well.

^ damn i want those tinted tails there too,

anyways ECS has kits avail. instead of buying them all seperate (H&R + Bilstein)

H&R Sport Spring & Bilstein Sport Shocks Combo
TT FWD [:'(]

H&R Sport Spring & Bilstein Sport Shocks Combo
TT Quattro

btw - how long does it take til the shocks start going bad (daily driven basis)? im not goin auto-X'ing or anything lol. i had TRD springs on my 02 celica GTS for a year and a half and the shocks were still running strong. (drop was 1" - 1.3" front/rear)
